Blossom Parade success

I supported the HDC float at the Blossom Parade with my granddaughter Maddi. We all wore pink, as it was “pink out” time in Hastings. The day was unexpectedly fine, a real bonus. It was thrilling that Councillor Kevin Watkins’ float won the best in the parade, as he had worked very hard in his spare time on the float. It was my choice to win as had many fresh flowers and there was room on his float for his two granddaughters. Once again it was great to see so many people involved in such a positive event.
