I’m just getting organised to put a sign or two up around Havelock North promoting my candidacy for the local body elections in Ocober. I have yet to hand in my nomination form, but will do so this weekend. I have been trying to succintly write my philosophy in 150 words, not easy! My signs have been designed and produced again by Willy at Design Print in Havelock North (he did a great job last election, so good I hardly recognised myself when I drove past every morning on the way to school!) I have also added details to the new website organised by Local Government NZ.  All the candidates standing this year have an opportunity to state what the perceive as the top 5 issues in their area. their candidate profile (the 150 words I referred to earlier) and personal details.
