Keeping cyclists safe

People travelling on Havelock Road into Hastings will have noticed the signs posted to show the intended new road markings after the whole road, from the Havelock Bridge to Norton Road, is resealed. These markings are intended to keep cyclists much safer on a road that about 20,000 vehicles use every day. I urge everyone to be patient when the resealing is being done and to save ratepayers money, please keep to the speed restrictions!
